Projected Goals of the Conference

1. To bring together in Jerusalem at Yad Vashem a group of Jewish educators who are active in Jewish education in North and South America, Europe, Australia, and South Africa.

2. To discuss the importance and dilemmas of teaching the Holocaust within the framework of formal and informal Jewish education throughout the world.

3. To provide a forum for all interested educators from other educational sectors to address issues pertinent to Holocaust education within their individual frameworks.

4. To provide participants with current educational age- appropriate interdisciplinary curricula and activities.
